No Cold Water in Shower, Fixed
After yesterday's missing hot water got fixed, we ended up with no cold water in our shower+bathtub. We had cold water in the rest of the apartment, just not the bathing facilities. 'Called Forward Management in the morning, and ~1 hour later we had a maintenance guy in who fixed it. Pretty speedy.

Temporary Phases of Reduced Cold Water Pressure
A maintenance issue that is difficult to replicate: sometimes, when someone in the building flushes their toilet, or uses the shower (or ?something?), our cold water pressure throughout the entire apartment is cut dramatically. If this happens while you're washing dishes, it's practically a burn hazard as the hot water takes over almost completely. In the video below, I show the rather large difference between the cold water pressure and hot water pressure during one of these temporary depressions. After some amount of time (suspiciously the amount of time it takes for a toilet water tank to refill), the cold water pressure usually returns to normal. That is, until someone else in the building flushes a toilet.
The water pressure didn't always use to do this. We suspect it started happening sometime in September 2013, after the loud rattling pipes were fixed.

Upstairs Ceiling Leak
Absolutely cannot get enough bathroom ceiling leaks! Here's one caused by our upstairs neighbor. Toilet water? A sink? One can hope.
Blech.

Forward Management Pittsburgh Late on Paying Water Bill, Again

Forward Management Pittsburgh and Bathroom Leak Call #10
At approximately 2:30pm today (5/10/12), I called Forward Management Pittsburgh and submitted a maintenance request for the bathroom leak, again. It appears that since the last time they painted over the leak, the leak has decided to move across the replaced dry wall to come out at the seam between the bathroom window and the wall. You can see where the water comes out most of the time, as the paint is tinted orange in that area. See photo below:
[Edit 5/21/12: A maintenance guy entered my apartment at ~11am on 5/16/12, mumbled something about getting permission from the upstairs neighbor, and has not returned since.]

Forward Management Pittsburgh One Month Response to Ceiling Leak
A month since I last called Forward Management Pittsburgh, and they've finally sent maintenance over to fix the bathroom ceiling leak. The maintenance guy claims he replaced some pipes and such of the upstairs neighbors' bathroom, but we'll see how that works out. In the meantime, here's their one day progress in fixing the damage to my ceiling/wall:
Hopefully they do a better job of cleaning up when they finish the job...
[Edit 12/8/11 Fixed and somewhat cleaned. A little?]

A Review of Forward Management's Slow Maintenance Response
Another bathroom ceiling leak! I called Forward Management Pittsburgh today (11/2/11 at 2:36pm), and spoke with the office manager. Maybe this thing will be fixed for real? We're still on leak call #8 here.

These two leaks are sprouting around previously "repaired" dry wall. That is, in past attempts to fix this, maintenance has replaced squares of drywall, and the water is simply escaping around those squares now.
Water and Electricity
[Edit 12/7/11: Forward Management Pittsburgh has finally sent a maintenance guy over to "fix" the leak. He claims to have replaced some of the pipes of the upstairs' neighbor, and that his bathroom floor is all wet. Who knows. It has taken them over a month to send someone over here.]

No Hot Water
Woke up at 11am today and there wasn't any hot water. Cold water will come out of the cold-spigots, but nothing comes out of the hot-spigots.
[Edit 4:20pm: Hot water is back.]
