Bathroom Leak #4

The ceiling leak appears, directly above the shower curtain pole where the wall meets the ceiling. The leak occurs EVERY SINGLE TIME my upstairs neighbor takes a shower.

As seen in the photos below, the patch applied by the Forward Management maintenance guy failed miserably. Even if you do not believe my photo-less posts, you can tell that this sort of mold damage to the wood has taken a long time to build up. I have to tie a bucket to the wood so that the water doesn't leak into my light like before.

Fixed: Bathroom Leak #3

No photograph this time, and just an approximation of the date.Forward Management will have to check your maintenance records for this.

Called Forward Management maintenance and after a few weeks someone came over and tried to redo the paint [again]. However, the damage was too extensive, so he ripped a small hole in the ceiling and attempted to patch it up with a piece of drywall over the hole, using spackle.

Wilting paint and ceiling drywall again. I turned the light on, and instead of a light on the left of the mirror, there was a flame. The water is dripping into the fixture again.

The Forward Management maintenance guy came over and redid the paint around the leaking area again. This time, he also had to replace the light fixture since it no longer worked.

The previous bathroom "fix" did not work. The paint around the leak got moldy/wilted again and began leaking into my lightbulb again. The light fixture stopped working and the light bulb had rusted into the socket.
